The Tenpenny Villages Benefice of Alresford, Elmstead and Frating with Thorrington

The Hub


The Hub is the name of the new annexe to the church.  The buildings were officially opened by the Bishop of Chelmsford on Sunday 17th November 2013.


The following groups are held in The Hub on a regular basis.  Please look at our calendar page for up-to-date details of dates and times.


 Tuesday Tots - for under 5s and their parents/carers. Every Tuesday, during term time, at 10.30 am, in the church.

 Memories Café. This is on the second Monday of every month from 2.30 to 4.00 pm in The Hub.

 Friendship Circle - Our bereavement support group is on the first and third Monday of every month from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm in The Hub.

 Relax & Renew –  is on the third Thursday of each month from 1.45 to 3.00 pm in The Hub.

 Knit ‘n’ Natter - is alternate Tuesday’s at 2.00 pm in The Hub.

 Pilgrim Group - is alternate Tuesday’s at 2.00 pm in The Hub.



Hiring The Hub


The Hub can be hired for private functions. We have a policy that we do not hire out The Hub when the Village Hall is available.  Please check with the Village Hall first before contacting the church.
