St Andrew’s Church 50th Anniversary

1976 to 2026

St Andrew’s was opened on Palm Sunday 11th April 1976. To celebrate our 50th Anniversary we held events over two weeks from Palm Sunday on the 29th March 2026 to Sunday 12th April 2026. This included a walk from St Peter’s to St Andrew’s, the blessing of our new toilets by Bishop Guli, an exhibition of photos and information of the fire at St Peter’s and the opening of St Andrew’s, and a service attended by many former clergy and members.
